Additional Info	Began in 1972, the Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree is one of the oldest old-time Appalachian music and arts festivals in the nation that remains free to the public. The Jamboree is a nationally televised, family-friendly event featuring National Bluegrass Music Competitions, as well as buck dancing, clogging, flat foot dance and square dancing competitions. Named The Official Tennessee and National Jamboree and Crafts Festival. Over 30 music categories to compete with over $15,000 prize money. 210 craft booths - all handmade - featuring Appalachian style crafts.
