Additional Info The Annual Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival is a three-day festival, taking place in Historic Roscoe Village, an 1800s restored canal town. Now in its 49th year, the festival will take place on October 19, 20, and 21. Enjoy over 100 craft and food vendors, presenting handcrafted items and delicious foods. Listen to musical performances by traditional dulcimer players, bluegrass bands, and gospel singers. Sample the sweet taste of homemade apple butter simmering over an open fire. This family friendly event offers hands-on activities, strolling characters and charming retail shops with an array of gifts including Ohio made and village artisans' hand-crafted products. The nearby canal boat offers a taste of life on the canal with its horse-drawn boat rides. After the festival, the eerie candlelit tour, Spirit of Roscoe, will be offered at 7:00pm at the cost of $12.95 for adults and $6.95 for children (reservations are required).
